Where to Shop in Fire Island Pines


TOLA is a chic little boutique near the harbor. Here, you’ll find a thoughtful mix of gifts, jewelry, candles, and beachy clothes. It’s the perfect spot for finding something cute before dinner or grabbing a unique souvenir.


This is the main grocery store in the Pines, and it has everything you need. You’ll find fresh produce, snacks, and sandwiches for your weekend essentials. Don't forget to try their iconic homemade chocolate chip cookies. They are stacked in a jar right by the checkout and are a local favorite for a reason.


Located next to the Pantry, the liquor shop carries a variety of wines, spirits, canned cocktails, and mixers. It’s quick, convenient, and perfect for getting ready before heading to a party or hosting your own.


Camp (Flowers & Hardware)

Camp is part flower shop, part hardware store, and all charm. Whether you need a lightbulb or a bouquet, it's one of those places that surprises you every time you walk in.


This new addition by the harbor offers local merchandise, queer-made goods, and even soft-serve ice cream! It’s a fun spot to stop by, whether you want something to wear to tea or a cone to cool down on a hot day.

Blue Whale is a beloved institution in the Pines. It’s where brunch turns into cocktails and cocktails into Low Tea. The stunning harbor views, especially at sunset, add to the magic, along with the piano nights. You’re likely to find yourself here more than once.


Pines Pizza

If you’re in the mood for something easy and delicious, Pines Pizza is the place to go. Located by the harbor, it’s always buzzing. The slices are generous, salads are fresh, and the deck is an ideal spot to enjoy a drink while watching the day unfold. It’s casual and inviting.

This will soon be your go-to day destination. Lounge by the pool with a cocktail, enjoy a live DJ, or simply people-watch. It’s one of the best spots to soak up the energy of the Pines under the sun.

  • Low Tea at Blue Whale starts around 6 PM. This is the social hour of the island where everyone gathers.

  • The frozen Punch at Sip N Twirl can sneak up on you. Enjoy, but be cautious; it’s a rite of passage!
